Why do we now have to login?

It was suggested that Southwick Bowling Club should have a ‘Private’ area for club members only. The committee decided what pages should be considered as ‘Private’, keeping an open area for non-members. This is common practice with other bowling clubs.

I get a 404 ‘Looks like this page no longer exists’ shown. What does this mean?
During the development and to maintain a functional website, the old website pages had to be visible. When the ’New’ pages were ready and became live, to prevent members being misinformed looking at the old pages, they were then either deleted or disabled.
Until Google searches updates itself, users may still be directed to the old pages which is why you will hit on the ‘page no longer exists’. Use the ‘Back to Homepage’ link to take you to the site and use the tabs.
This would also be true if you have bookmarked the old pages. Delete them and use the correct URL to navigate to the website directly. You can then bookmark the new page.
Why am I seeing ‘Your Browser is No Longer Supported’ when accessing the website?
Browsers such as Google and Safari are reguarlly updated. The most important reason to keep your browser up-to-date is to keep your computer safe and secure, protecting you from identity theft, phishing attacks, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, and other sorts of malware. Website platforms are continually improving too and your device will have a shelf life. Eventually there will be a time when your device is no longer supported, governed by your device operating system.
